Somewhere Over the Rainbow

The exhibition works are a further development of the artist’s practice, which is based on the idea of breaking the “fourth wall” through the amplification of the technical structures of works of art. The painting technique that demystifies works of art does not try to appear as a perspective image, but as a physical object. This is amplified by the structural parts of the installation. Paintings lightly depict, for example, horizon or mountain motifs that call into question how well we can perceive the world when, in reality, we are exposed to unambiguous conventional terms and visual language that only describe the characteristics of the world.
