Daily, one gets fed images of horrific events happening parallel to our own safe existence. One could only have sincere sympathy through unreliable knowledge which could be easily manipulated by outside forces. Overwhelming media interference has a numbing impact on how the information gets processed. The informative painful images have become just pictures as it’s something one probably has already accepted as a reality. The slow pace of the video is evidence of how non-shocking and common a horror may become. The work focuses on how one can talk about things that others have been through. The project comprises a video of 39min 9s length and of six images in various sizes true to the original web image size. The video is a computer screen recording in a single take. It depicts a performative act of copying images found on the internet and editing them on a computer to unknown.
